The Ekiti State chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Revd. Peter Olowolafe has admonished Christians in Nigeria to promote peace, justice and love as solution to the myriads of problems and insecurity confronting the country.
He further admonished Christians in the country to lives worthy of emulation like Jesus Christ, while emphasizing on the need to tolerate one another especially as electioneering season approaches in Nigeria and in Ekiti state.
He said, “I believe that Ekiti state would be a reference point in terms of development and growth if various groups can pay the price of upholding justice which would later translate to peace and development in the country for all people”.
The Ekiti CAN chairman further appealed to Christians to obey all the COVID-19 protocols while urging the government to ensure that every citizen of the country is vaccinated against COVID-19 pandemic.
He, however, stressed the need for governments at all levels in Nigeria to intensify efforts at ensuring a secured and peaceful environment for all citizens.
