Ekiti NSCDC Parades Four Suspected Criminals For Alleged Kidnapping, Stealing

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Ekiti Command, on Monday paraded four suspected criminals for alleged kidnapping, conspiracy, and stealing.

The state commandant of NSCDC, Mr. John Olatunde Fayemi stated that officers of the command arrested the suspects during the New Year celebration.

He stated that the suspects included Tobi Olayinka, Ayodeji Fanase and Daniel Emmanuel.

NSCDC commander, Fayemi said that Tobi Olayinka was arrested by the Counter Terrorist Unit (CTU) for an alleged threat on one Hamzat Adebisi whom he was a former sales assistant to.

He stated that the suspect, Olayinka demanded for N1.4 million from his former employer as ransom stating that he was arrested at a point of collecting the ransom paid by the victim.

He further stated that Ayodeji Fanase and Daniel Emmanuel were arrested after allegedly stealing the sum of 500,000 and iron spreadsheet respectively.

The Ekiti NSCDC boss, however, cautioned residents to desist from involving in criminal activities stating that the suspects would be arraigned in court after investigations have been concluded.
