The Ekiti State Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Honourable Ilesanmi Omolayo has reiterated the commitment of the party to tackle hunger and insecurity in the state if elected in the forthcoming gubernatorial election scheduled to hold in the state.Â
He further stated the party is ready to receive any interested politician that is aiming to join the party stating that the party’s primary election will be conducted on the 27th day of January, 2022.
The chairman stated this at the state’s party secretariat while receiving one of the party governorship aspirants, Honourable Prince Gbenga Obaidu.
Speaking further, the ADC gubernatorial aspirant, Prince Gbenga Obaidu expressed his readiness to tackle unemployment, stating that he is motivated to contest for the office of the governor due to his passion and concern for the people of the state.
He said, “I am coming out to contest for the seat of the Governor of the state to save my people, I am coming out to render and give my people total emancipation”.
The aspirant further expressed optimism of winning the governorship election, stating that he will tackle the menace of kidnapping, banditry and killings if elected.
