Ekiti State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Michael Awopetu has charged youths in the State to shun all forms of social vices capable of impinging on their development.
Hon. Awopetu who made the call in Ado Ekiti, warned that social vices like kidnapping, robbery, cultism, and all types of violence have led many to the path of destruction.
Awopetu assured that the Dr Kayode Fayemi-led administration would not deviate from its commitment to youth development, adding that the focus is to train and empower youths towards making them productive and self-sufficient.
Reiterating the resolve of the State Government to continue investing heavily in youth development, the Commissioner said that no stone would be left unturned towards curbing youth restiveness and securing the future of the State through proper molding of the youths.
