The African Democratic Congress Party (ADC) has unveiled Dr Oluwole Oluyede as its gubernatorial flag bearer ahead of the Ekiti state election.
The election, which was held on Saturday 29 January 2022 at Ado-Ekiti, attracted party stakeholders to the state.
Speaking, the party’s electoral committee chairperson, High Chief Anayo Arinze described the party as the only credible alternative to other political parties in the State while revealing that the party was established to meet up with the yearnings of Nigerians.
Dr Oluyede expressed his desires towards empowering the residents of the state while frowning at the overdependence of the federal government allocation by the current APC-led government in the State.
He said. “My government will teach the people of Ekiti State how to fish and not to give them fish”.
He, however, stated that he will run a transparent and accountable government in order to move the state forward.
