Ahead of the June 18 governorship election in Ekiti State, the Peoples Democratic Party has named two former Senate presidents, David Mark and Adolphus Wabara, and seven other members to its Ekiti Post-Primary Reconciliation Committee.

The party also appointed Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, to co-chair the committee alongside Mark.

The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, disclosed this in a statement on Monday titled, ‘PDP constitutes Ekiti State Post-Primary Reconciliation Committee’.

“The committee is charged with the sole mandate of reconciling all our stakeholders in Ekiti State, including all aspirants in the just concluded governorship primary election in the state. This is in line with the commitment of the NWC to ensure an amicable resolution of all issues as our party sets for a victorious governorship election in Ekiti State,” Ologunagba said.

The National Working Committee urged all aspirants, leaders and critical stakeholders of the party in Ekiti State to remain focused on the success of the PDP in the forthcoming governorship election.

Other members of the post-primary committee are Zainab Kure, Dr Prince Akitoye, Sergeant Awuse, Col Bala Mande, Shuaibu Oyedokun and Sanusi Daggash as secretary.
