Nantes Blocked My Move To Leeds United – Simon Moses

Nigeria’s Super Eagles winger, Simon Moses has admitted he received contacts from English Premier League side, Leeds United to join them but it was blocked by his French Ligue 1 team, Nantes.

According to the skillful player, who is one of the hottest properties in French Ligue One, following his fine form for FC Nantes this season, said his form caught the attention of the Premier League, who were eager to break the bank for him, but Nantes blocked the move.

“Yes, it is true, my agent told me about some offers among all is Leeds United who came calling with a strong offer and well intention of sealing the deal immediately. He told ckdmedia.

“My club wants me to finish the season with FC Nantes and I really want to contribute my own quota to ensure we secure Europa league ticket at the end of the season, we are pushing hard for that,” Simon said.

Simon, who has been involved in eight goals in 16 matches for the Canaries this season and also had a terrific outing with the Nigerian squad at the AFCON 2021 in Cameroon, where he scored one and assisted another goal, further said “Already we are in the quarter-finals of the French cup and presently we are among the top ten teams on the league table, hopefully, the Europa League will not be a bad achievement.
