Another N100m Released By Fayemi’s Govt As Gratuities To 30 Retirees

Dr Kayode Fayemi’s government in Ekiti State has disbursed another tranche of 100 million naira as gratuities to 30 retirees from the State Public Service.

The Executive Secretary of the State Pension Transitional Arrangement Department (PTAD), Mr. Francis Omotoso who made this known in Ado Ekiti, reiterated the commitment of the Fayemi led Administration to the welfare of the retirees in the State.

Advising the beneficiaries to use the money for meaningful ventures, Omotoso stressed the need for them to shun get-rich-quick syndrome, adding that they must be wary of activities of fraudsters to avoid losing their hard earn legacies.

One of the beneficiaries, Rev. Akintunde Famoyegun who spoke on behalf of his colleagues, expressed gratitude to Governor Kayode Fayemi forreleasing funds for the payment of pension and gratuities to retirees from the State Public Service.

Rev. Famoyegun also pledged the continued support of the elderly citizens in the State to efforts of the administration to develop the State and improve the welfare of the people.
