Nigeria’s Super Eagles’ striker, Paul Onuachu has been named in the Belgian League Team of the Week, after helping Genk beat Standard Liege 2-0 in Sunday’s fixture.

Onuachu, who netted his 14th league goal for the season when he doubled Genk’s lead in the 53rd minute, is now joint third in the Jupiler league top scorers’ chart with just six goals shy of the leader.
The Super Eagles star is the only Genk player who made the Team of the Week which is in a 4-4-2 formation.
He missed the just concluded AFCON in Cameroon due to injury but should be part of the squad for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Ghana.
