Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen is ranks second for headed goals in the European Leagues since the start of 2022 according to Italian sports daily Corriere dello Sport.
When the former Lille star opened the scoring in Napoli’s 2-0 win over Hellas Verona on Sunday, it was his third headed goal in the space of five weeks.
Osimhen previously scored through headers against Venezia (February 6) and Cagliari Calcio (February 21).

For the 2021-2022 season, Osimhen has netted four goals with a header, second behind Genoa attacker, Mattia Destro.
The 2015 U17 World Cup winner has notched thirteen goals in all competitions, including four in the Europa League.
He headed home an equaliser as Napoli and Leicester City shared the spoils with a 2-2 draw in their opening game of the Europa League at the King Power Stadium back in September.
