According to tuttonapoli.net, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is ready to listen to offers for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen but they must start from €100m, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.

Osimhen is one of the most sought-after strikers in Europe following his impressive two seasons with the Italian outfit.

The 23-year-old only joined The Parthenopeans in the summer of 2020 for a club-record fee of £81m plus ads on.

Despite his debut season plagued by injuries and illness, the striker managed to score 10 goals in the league.

Osimhen started the 2021/22 season in fine form before suffering a face injury, which ruled him out of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in January.

Upon his return, the former Lille player struggled in front of goal, but since finding his strides, he has been scoring goals and is one of the reasons Luciano Spalleti’s side are back in contention for the Serie A title.

So far this season, Osimhen has scored 15 goals and four assists in 25 appearances.

The Super Eagles striker’s performance has not gone unnoticed and he is not short of suitors, with clubs like Newcastle, Arsenal, Tottenham, Real Madrid and even Manchester United all linked with the player.

According to Italian publication tuttonapoli.net, Napoli are not willing to let go of their most valuable player, but De Laurentiis, due to pressure and demands is now willing to listen to offers but anything short of €100m will not be accepted by the Napoli boss.

“The increasingly convincing performances and goals of Victor Osimhen in the Napoli shirt are increasing attention and polls towards the Nigerian forward in view of the summer,” the website statement read in part.

“Napoli’s idea is certainly not to deprive themselves of him in June, but a lot will depend on any offers and also on the ideas of the player and his entourage.

“At what figures? The starting point will be €100m, unless the president Aurelio De Laurentiis will not even sit at the negotiating table.”
