Erelu Kemi Elebute, the governorship candidate of the Action Democratic Party, (ADP), in Ekiti has revealed that her administration will focus on empowering the youths and women across the state if voted into power.
Erelu Elebute stated this during her campaign tour in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital on Thursday.
She further stated that the support she received from the women folks across the state are a pointer to having more women participate in politics, stating that her emergence will bring about industrial and business development in the state
Her words: “Irrespective of what happened within the party, we are waxing stronger every day and we are prepared for the election. According to statistics in politics, it was noted that 60 to 70 percent of women in the world are involved in politics.
“My passion is to serve and that is why I am contesting. This is our time; I am soliciting the support of the youths, women and men in order to win the election. We want to create jobs and empower the youths, pensioners and the women”.
She further stated that her administration will focus on turning Ekiti state into an industrial hub and empower the indigent members of the state.
