Mr Adebayo Maruf Elelubo Omituntun during the week gave out cash donations to some widows in ward 1 of Oluyole Federal Constituency.
Elelubo who is an ally of Oyo State’s Governor Seyi Makinde in his remarks noted that the donation was in fulfilment of a promise he made some time ago to the widows.
Speaking further, Maruf gave kudos to Governor Makinde for his exemplary leadership and governance style which he said has brought prosperity to the state.
He also commended Otunba Seye Famujuro for his support, asserting that Otunba Famujuro has left no stone unturned in ensuring that he empowers those behind him, describing him as a leader and a boss like no other.
Elelubo also indicated that his efforts are geared towards ensuring all PDP candidates achieve the best possible results in Oluyole Federal Constituency. He has built a classroom and three toilets at Lanase Olunkan community basic school, and paying the salary of a PTA teacher, amongst other projects he has executed. He also ensured that close to 500 people had gone out to register for their permanent voter’s cards by providing the necessary logistics, particularly in areas where INEC recently located voting units.
Also speaking at the event which was well attended, Prince Falana Adebowale Personal Assistant to Chief Bisi Ilaka, the People’s Democratic Party Senatorial candidate for Oyo Central, applauded Elelubo for his humanitarian act and assured the widows of the support of his principal. He said Ilaka is all out to providing quality representation for the people of Oyo Central, and urged the people work towards the success of all PDP candidates.
The PDP Ward 1 Chairman in Oluyole Federal Constituency Mr. Adebayo Sakariyau expressed gratitude to Elelubo, stressing that his generosity has made his job and that of party faithful much easier, he said his good deeds and consistent financial support will go a long way in ensuring the success of PDP in the coming elections.
