French club, Nantes, has opened talks with Nigeria international, Moses Simon over a contract.
Simon who has two years left on his current deal is on the radar of Premier League clubs, Brighton, Newcastle and Leeds.
French clubs Olympique Marseille and Nice have also made inquiries recently.
The 26-year-old who scored six times and made eight assists in 30 Ligue I appearances is also keen to remain at the club if an improved offer is made.
“The club wants to keep Simon and they have opened talks with him,” close source revealed to PUNCH Sports Extra.
“He is one of the clubs top players and they are prepared to keep him but I’m sure they will listen offers close to their valuation.
“He is also open to a move away from the club with the right offers.”
Our correspondent learnt that Nantes will listen to offers within the range of €10m to €15m for the winger.
After dramatically winning the Coupe de France this season, Nantes will play Europa League football next season.
