Dr Akin Ogunbiyi, the gubernatorial candidate of Accord party in Osun State, has expressed shock over the attack on the residence of Rt. Hon. Lasun Yussuff, the Labour party’s candidate by unknown vandals.
Ogunbiyi further stated that the attack on Lasun’s residence was a wicked and unfortunate action stating that politicians have not learnt any good lesson from past occurrences.
Ogunbiyi, however, urged all politicians to shun evil actions that could disturb the peace of the state, while affirming that the blood of anyone in the state must not be shed to secure the victory of anyone at the polls.
He further prayed that God should continue to guide Hon Yussuff, his family and supporters from any form of evil, adding that the people of the state should exercise their franchise freely by voting accordingly.
Speaking further, Ogunbiyi thanked the people of the state for sympathizing with him over the fire incidence, which occurred in his private residence on Sunday adding that he cherished the concerns and prayers of his teaming supporters over the incidence.
Ogunbiyi stated that he was determined to liberate the people of the state from bad governance at all levels while urging the people to vote for him with their conscience in order for the state to experience a new dawn.
