Labour Party gubernatorial candidate in Osun State, Hon. Lasun Yusuff, has promised to restore the agricultural and health sector of the state if he emerges as the Governor in Saturday’s election.
He further said, “When I become the Governor by the Grace of God, I will establish at least one clinic that is accessible to everybody within the radius of one kilometer. We will build companies that will employ our children to work and establish a data centre at the headquarters of every local government in Osun State”.
Hon. Lasun stated this during the party’s rally in Osogbo, the Osun state capital on Wednesday.
Speaking, the presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi further urged the people of the state to vote for the party’s gubernatorial candidate, Yusuf Lasun, during Saturday’s election in the state.
He further said the party will ensure prompt payment of worker’s salaries, pension and revitalize the state’s economy if it emerged victorious on Saturday.
“Vote for Labour party for the future of your children, we want to build a better Osun state. Vote for Labour Party so that your children can have jobs. We will move Nigeria forward from consumption to production.
“We want to change Nigeria and the only way we can change Nigeria is to remove all these people who have put Nigeria where it is for the past 23 years. This is time for them to go. They are owing salaries, pensions; and those that are working hard are not being paid, but this will stop once you vote Labour Party on Saturday”.
Adding, the National Chairman of the party, Julius Abure, said that Labour Party is the only party that has solutions to the problem facing the state while appealing to the electorate to come out en masse on Saturday and vote for the party.
He said, “I want to beg you, no matter the temptation of the money they might want to give you, do not sell your future. The reason we have been in trouble over the years is that when they give us part of the money they stole from us, we will still vote for them.
“If you can resist the temptation of not collecting the money, do not take it, but if you cannot resist the temptation, take the money and vote against them”.
