The family left behind by one time governor of Oyo State, Alhaji (Dr) Lamidi Onaolapo Adesina has joined other great Nigerians to mourn the demise of the Aseyin of Iseyin, Oba (Dr) Ganiyy Adekunle Salaudeen, Oloogunebi Ajinese I.

In a special statement signed and sent to PMParrot by the scion of the late politician, Dr Ayobami Wasiu Lam-Adesina, the family described the death of the first-class Yoruba monarch as sad and disheartening.

Said Dr Lam-Adesina “the Aseyin got the people of Iseyin to stand by my late dad through thick and thin. He was a man who kept promises, a God-fearing monarch and a man of the people. He was a benevolent traditional ruler.”

“Our condolences also to the Oyo State government and the people of Iseyin on the irreparable loss. May the soul of this great monarch rest in peace,”
