The family of late former governor of Oyo State, Alhaji (Dr) Lamidi Onaolapo Adesina has joined other prominent Nigerians to celebrate veteran broadcaster, Prince Dotun Oyelade as he turns 70.
In a statement personally signed by the head of the family, Dr Ayobami Wasiu Lam-Adesina and made available to PMParrot on Friday, the family prayed for the Ogbomoso-born strategic thinker.
“We are proud to be associated with him at all times. He was our late father’s private secretary. A very intelligent but quiet individual with very good sophistication and exposure. He is a blessing to Ogbomoso and Oyo state in general. We pray for long life and sound health in prosperity for him”.
Meanwhile, arrangements have been concluded for the media icon, a seasoned broadcast Journalist, an astute media administrator and insightful political communication consultant to officially launch his book, Dotun Oyelade Reporting…(Memoirs Of A Newshound) in Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State on Saturday, September 10. Venue is Ogunlesi Hall located inside the University College Hospital.
The book launch is part of the activities making the 70th birthday anniversary of the media icon.
