The demise of a former member of the House of Representatives, Honourable Tayo Sarumi has been announced.
Cause of death is yet to be revealed but the politician’s passing-away was mentioned online by one of his close associates, Ismaila Ashipa on Friday evening.
Ashipa wrote “We lost him to the cold hand of death few minutes ago. May his loving spirit live on. Hon Tayo Sarumi is late- an ex Member of the House of Representatives, Ibadan North Federal Constituency.
“Egbon, I am happy you lived a well fulfilled life. I am missing you already.”
Late Hon Sarumi was a politician who was unusually close to many media men and the Oyo State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ).
