Oyo 2023: Okedara, Ex-Boxing Champ Flags Off Guber Campaign Under AAC

Former Universal Boxing Champion, Mojeed Okedara has officially flagged off his campaign as he seeks to win the gubernatorial seat of Oyo State during the 2023 general election under the African Action Congress (AAC).

He flagged-off his campaign in Ibadan, the capital city of the state on Saturday at a well-attended gathering.

Okedara who addressed thousands of his party faithful that came from all the 33 local government areas of Oyo State promised to correct the abysmal leadership failure and apparent underperformance of the incumbent government in our state.

“I’m well prepared and armed with a well-thought-out socioeconomic blueprint and 21st century developmental map out plan which has been critically analyzed and evaluated in my manifesto to reposition our state for her supposed greatness.

Okedara in his long speech said “I have the firm belief we’ll be leaving here today with the resolve to work together as a unit to take back our state through the ballot revolution in the 2023 General elections by voting I, Okedara Mojeed Kehinde under the umbrella of our great party, The African Action Congress as the Governor to pilot the affairs of our dear State from 2023”.

“Unfortunately, we are still moving in a downward trend of unsustainable debt burden, insecurity, poor infrastructure and a low human development index. I know the situation is straining and inhibiting the human capital potential of our dear state, therefore, the situation needs to change and this requires our collective effort to salvage this state from deplorable condition”, said the Oyo born boxing champion.

The official unveiling of the AAC Oyo State’s gubernatorial candidate that has Omoyele Sowore as it Presidential candidate was held inside the Yinbo College, Orogun, along University of Ibadan second gate also had in attendance party officials from Abuja and the beautiful deputy governorship candidate, Oladimeji Idowu Ayomide.
