The Ekiti State Deputy Governor, Chief Monisade Afuye on Tuesday led her political associates to celebrate the Wife of the state Governor, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji.
The Deputy Governor, who was accompanied by the Permanent Secretary, Office of the Deputy Governor, Mr Abayomi Opeyemi and other Management Staff in her office were warmly received by the first lady in her office, Ado Ekiti.
While congratulating the first lady, Chief Afuye sang various songs and prayed God to give Dr Olayemi Oyebanji good health, wisdom and the wherewithal to better the lots of women folks in Ekiti.
Chief Afuye also used the occasion to present a cake to the first lady and promised her unflinching support to policies and programmes initiated by the First Lady to bring about people-oriented-programmes to the affairs of girl child, women and Ekiti people in general.
In her remark, the Wife of Ekiti State Governor, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji expressed her delight at the surprise visit of the Deputy Governor, Chief Monisade Afuye who came to celebrate her.
Dr Oyebanji appreciated the Deputy Governor for the gesture and the great honor done on her by the Ekiti number two citizen and her political associates.
The wife of the Governor who could not hide her joy, prayed that the present tenure would witness a season of unprecedented achievements.
