The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Oyo State Command has paraded a suspected male burglary criminal who terrorizes the residents of Amuloko, Ibadan at the Command State Headquarters, Agodi in the capital city of the state.
While parading the suspect, the state Commandant of the Corps CC Adaralewa Michael made it known to journalists that the male suspect, Aderinto Segun, 22 years old, hails from Ibadan, Amuloko area of Ona-Ara Local Government Oyo State.
He further stated that the criminal was arrested at Pegba, along Muslim area of Oluyole Local Government, Ibadan, on 25th October, 2022 after being rescued from being mobbed by angry residents of the area before he was handed over to NSCDC officials by Agbekoya group.
The State Commandant revealed that items recovered from him included an Android phone, a 32inches plasma TV, a manual rechargeable fan, and different kinds of clothing, affirming that the suspect will be charged to court.
The State Commandant further urged residents of Oyo state to continue to supply the Corps with first-hand information to nip crime in the bud in the State.
He, however, urged people to desist from jungle justice stating that anyone found guilty will be made to face the consequences.
