Officials of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) are comparing notes on the suitable campsite between Morocco and Spain for the Flying Eagles head of the Africa U20 Cup of Nations in Egypt in February next year.

Our correspondent gathered that the technical crew of the Flying Eagles headed by Ladan Bosso has earmarked Morocco and Spain for the final phase of their camping exercise en route to the U-20 AFCON in Egypt since both countries have similar weather conditions and their   nearness to the venue of the competition which serves as qualifiers for next year’s FIFA U20 World Cup.

No official communication yet regarding the number of friendly games to be played during the training tour but our source informed that this would be sorted as soon as the final camp venue is picked.

The Flying Eagles who have won this competition in this current format thrice in 2005, 2011 and 2015 are in Group A alongside another three times Champions and hosts, Egypt; three times runners up, Senegal; and Mozambique who are making their second consecutive appearance in the competition.
