The Assistant Inspector General (AIG) in charge of Zone 11 Command of the Nigeria Police comprising Oyo and Osun States, Mr Akande Sikiru Kayode has tasked parents, religious leaders and others to ensure that their wards keep strictly to the rules of engagement on the days of elections and beyond.
The commission of Police, Oyo State Command, Mr Adebowale Williams also echoed the same message adding that maintaining the peace before, during and after the general elections is the responsibility of all dutiful Nigerians.
The duo spoke while featuring live on a special Splash 105.5fm/Parrot Xtra Media Network programme on Wednesday afternoon.
The radio show that was anchored by Olayinka Agboola and Oluwaseun Akinola also saw the top police officers reeling out instructions to be followed on the day of election.
