The Chairman, Oyo State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board, Bishop (Dr) Ademola Moradeyo has joined other well-meaning people of Oyo State to congratulate the state’s Governor ‘Seyi Makinde for securing a second term in office.

The cleric hailed the governor for remaining God-fearing and hard working in the past three and a half years adding that this has profited the people of the state.

Moradeyo in a statement on Monday in Ibadan described the outcome of the poll that approved another four years’ term for Makinde as a well deserved victory for him and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)

“I am so happy to congratulate his Excellency, the governor of Oyo State, Engineer Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde on his re-election for a second term.

“I will use this opportunity to pray for sound health, more wisdom and sense of purpose for our governor.

“I am also sure that the people of the state will not stop praying for him because the feat he achieved was facilitated by their prayers. If the governor succeeds, it means this will bring more peace and progress to the state.

“I will also implore the people of the state to continue to cooperate with Governor Makinde’s administration and also play their own roles as good citizens.”
