Exactly 94 students from various secondary schools in Oyo State, Saturday, contested for the Vale Tutorial College 2023 Justice Atinuke Ige Memorial Scholarship.
The students who wrote a test at The Vale College auditorium located within the school’s expansive compound in Iyaganku GRA, Ibadan on Saturday, April 8, 2023 were accompanied by their parents.
In their separate speeches, the two surviving children of late Justice Atinuke Ige, Mrs Funsho Adegbola and Architect Muyiwa Ige reaffirmed the commitment of the family to continue to give back to the society in the names of their late parents, Chief Ajibola Ige and Justice Atinuke Omobonike Ige.
Saturday’s the Vale Tutorial College 2023 Justice Atinuke Ige Memorial Scholarship contest was the 10th edition.
In another development, the family has concluded plans to host a modest 20th anniversary thanksgiving to honour late Justice Atinuke Ige on Monday, April 10, 2023.
