Udinese head coach, Andrea Sottil was quick to praise his players including Super Eagles attacker, Isaac Success after they secured a comfortable 3-0 victory over Cremonese.

Success who has featured in 30 Serie A games this term for the Zebras, scored his first goal of the season in the annihilation of Cremonese 364 days after he scored last against Bologna.

Though he hobbled off the pitch in the 42nd minute, Sottil t singled out Success out for praises as he hailed his sacrifices for the team.

“The lads deserve huge credit for this result – they wanted it so much. We have a team of professionals, serious individuals and excellent footballers. There was no contest from the start. They thoroughly deserved this win,” he said.

The last of Udinese’s three first-half goals was scored by Isaac Success – his first league goal of the campaign – sparking jubilant scenes around the player.

“The way everyone hugged him shows the team spirit we have here. Isaac always puts the team first. He wins loads of free kicks and deserved this goal. I’m so sorry about his injury. He scored a wonderful goal and we’re all pleased for him,

“The starting line-up was something we considered carefully during the week. It was a balanced side. We just needed to exploit the space more with better off-the-ball movement. Everything went to plan, except Success’ injury.

“[Kingsley] Ehizibue has come on in leaps and bounds. He works so hard and makes lots of good runs. Lots of our players have shown improvement – [Sandi] Lovric, Festy [Ebosele], [Jaka] Bijol, [Nehuen] Perez and [Lazar] Samardzic. Seeing it gives me and my staff a tremendous sense of satisfaction,” Sottil added.
