The Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Adebo Ogundoyin has welcomed a baby boy into his family barely two months after the death of his mother.
The family of the third citizen in the state made the announcement on Thursday.
The family of Adeseun Ogundoyin added a new addition 53 day after the mother of the Speaker; Chief Mrs. Justina Iyabo Ogundoyin bid the world a farewell.
Announcing the newest arrival to his family, the Speaker said “My heart is full of joy as my wife has just been put to bed. To God be the glory, it’s another bouncing baby boy.
“We have another beautiful soul added to our family as a consolation from the Lord. Just less than two months ago, our Mum bid the world goodbye.
“We are happy Mum is resting with the Lord now but we have another bundle of joy, another precious gift.
“Thank you O Lord! My beautiful wife, Olamidun and the beautiful baby are amazingly good. We are super excited at the moment.
“We feel blessed and happy to receive and welcome our little one to the world this beautiful Thursday. He is our second bundle of joy. It is a special gift from God. We can’t be happier. Join me in praising the Lord,” Oyo Speaker said.
