The Nigeria Police Force is set to honour one of its gallant officers who is retiring from active service, Assistant Inspector General Sikiru Kayode Akande on Friday.
AIG Akande is presently the Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 11 Command, Osogbo, the capital city of Osun State.
The Osogbo City Township Stadium, venue of the ‘Pull Out Parade’ will be agog as family, friends and officer colleagues will gather to honour the retiring well-loved officer, who will also be celebrating his birthday on the same day.
The twin programme will hold on Friday, May 26th, 2023 as follows:
Pull Out Parade at Osogbo City Township Stadium by 10am
Sendoff Ceremony at Leisure Spring Hotels, Iwo/Ibadan, Osogbo by 2pm.
