The Golden Movie Ambassadors Association of Nigeria (TGMAAN) urged President Bola Tinubu to pay attention to the creative industry in a congratulatory message.

According to Tunde Olaoye, the public relations officer of the TGMAAN, the emergence of the president, despite all odds, is as a result of his doggedness and commitment to a cause he believes in.

“We at TGMAAN are urging you to hit the ground running to create an enabling environment for all and sundry as promised in your campaign policy statement, ‘Renewed Hope.’ We are really hoping and waiting with bated breath for a renaissance.

“The entertainment industry at large is hoping for an unprecedented government support to blossom as contained on page 54 of your manifesto where you said ‘we will also review the legislative and enforcement frameworks for intellectual property protection in Nigeria.’

“The entertainment industry needs to be more viable in order to contribute a lot more to the GDP. The new government must therefore put round pegs in round holes to make the creative industry prosperous and positively influence development in the industry value chain,” he added.
