The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Worldwide, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has urged Nigerians to walk with God in order for them to escape unnecessary hardship, calamities and dangers.

Adeboye spoke on Sunday at the RCCG headquarters, The Throne of Grace, at Ebute-Metta in Lagos.

The occasion was the monthly thanksgiving service with the theme: El-Shaddai (The Almighty God) where he also prayed for orphans, widows, and widowers.

The popular preacher sought God’s help for those looking for children, the singles, as well as those seeking promotions and joy.

Adeboye noted that despite the various challenges confronting the nation, which make the future to look bleak, Nigerians can go to sleep if they cleave to Almighty God Who has everything at His disposal.

“Breaking down the meaning of His Name, El-Shaddai, into the human language, the meaning describes God as a mother who just gave birth to babies. No matter the number of babies the mother gave birth to, she would have enough milk to breastfeed the babies. It is natural.

“The name, therefore, portrays God as ‘All Sufficient God’ Who has more than enough to take care of Nigerians who trust and repose their confidence in Him,” he said.

The RCCG General Overseer premised the condition to benefit from God’s inexhaustible provisions as having to be where God can see them through righteousness, holiness and transparency in life’s dealings.

The cleric in charge of the church’s national headquarters, Pastor Adebayo Adeyemo, advised Nigerians to turn to God so that they can heave a sigh of relief.

He noted that if the citizens could trust God and live in His presence at all times, the pains they are experiencing currently would go away in no time.

According to him, there is indication that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has started on a good footing.

Adeyemo urged fellow Nigerians to be patient with the new government, which he said inherited a depleted treasury.
