The Living Perfect Master & Founder of One Love Family, Satguru Maharaj Ji, was hosted by OLAYINKA AGBOOLA on Splash 105.5FM, Radio Show, Parrot Xtra/Ayekooto on Radio on Tuesday, June 27, 2023. During the interaction, he spoke about the mystery surrounding the Maharaj Ji spiritual concept and why Chief MKO Abiola was not declared winner of June 12, 1993 presidential election among many salient issues… Excerpts:
Can you share with us the mystery behind the establishment of One Love Family?
I originated from the lineage of the Akinbami Royal Dynasty. My physical name at birth was Mohammed Sahib Ajirobatan Akanji Dan Ibrahim.
In my search for knowledge, I travelled to London to study Marketing and on July 17, 1976, the Master of the time, Shri Prem Pal Singh Rawat revealed Divine Knowledge to me in London that a certain man, named Mohammed Sahib Ajirobatan from the most populous nation in Africa will be the next Satguru. In confirmation, on January 1, 1980, there was a change of baton and I was made to carry the mantle of Mastership to be the next Living Perfect Master.
There is a controversy about your marital life; can you tell us more about it?
I am not married but I have many spiritual children. I cannot marry now till I finish. If not for the spirit, I would have died since.
Between Christianity and Islam, which one is Maharaj Ji closer to?
Islam and Christianity are man-made. They are teaching us about Heaven of tomorrow while Maharaj Ji is talking about heaven on earth now and it is within each person at the moment. The manifestation of somebody known as Maharaj Ji is the light.
Can you tell us some of the challenges you faced in spreading the message of the Maharaj Ji movement?
When I came back in 1976, I went around spreading divine knowledge; some people accepted the truth while others ignored it. Several times, I have been tested if I am trustworthy and honest but I have passed that test of integrity.
Can you recount some of the great works you have done through Maharaj Ji?
Firstly, I declared Nigeria a new Holy land of the Universe on May 29, 1993 when Nigeria was in crisis. General Ibrahim Babangida declared the period of war in Nigeria while I declared peace. Secondly, the true name of God is called Maharaj Ji and anywhere you call it, Satan will disappear.
How will you assess the current situation of Nigeria?
In spite of the current indices of war, Nigeria has been able to stay united. In 1993, I declared a new Nigeria and I have prevented war from happening in Nigeria.
Are you also in support of our politicians taking their oath of office with the Holy Books – the Quran and the Bible?
God is not in our Bible and Quran. Before 1970, we used to lend money to foreign nations but now the reverse is the case. Let our politicians swear and take their oath of office using Ogun, Obatala and Sango, Esu instead of the books the white people handed over to us. We need to go back to practicing our culture, because we want to stop our politicians from messing up again.
Are you impressed with the performance of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration so far?
You cannot compare Tinubu with Atiku who is a Fulani bigot nor Peter Obi who could not control his own state. Many of the Eastern states are still affected by the sit at home order of IPOB and the police formations there have been broken down. I cannot support a man who is in support of Biafra.
After saying that, I will now say that Tinubu is a man of the moment; I supported and helped him to win the presidential election just as I have done for many politicians in the past. I believe there will be justice, rule of law and equity for all under Tinubu’s government. Within his short stay in office, he has changed the face of governance. Soon, Nigeria will be a centre of global politics.
Look at Zimbabwe, though they did not like their president but they will always remember him for introducing free education from the primary level to the secondary level.
First time in history, we now have a president that we can trust and believe in. Tinubu is a true son of Oduduwa. Prayers through the usual (Christian and Islamic) channels have never worked for Nigeria and there is no need for praying. No prayers offered to appease God is acceptable, it always ends up in the devil’s hand.
What do you think about the agitation for a Yoruba Nation and what advice do you have for the popular Yoruba freedom fighter, Sunday Igboho?
He is on the right course but I will urge the government to allow him to state his opinion. I am Sunday Igboho’s Spiritual father and the spiritual father of all the universe. Maharaj Ji nation is the kingdom of heaven on earth. The agitation for an independent Yoruba nation is as a result of bad governance.
Are you not concerned that Nigerians are of the opinion that Guru Maharaj Ji is an occultic movement?
Maharaj is the omnipotent spirit. It is the modern way; I am dealing with the spirit within man. I heal people and I teach my children to make drones and cars.
What is your relationship with other religious leaders like Pastor Adejare Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God and others?
I do not have grudges against Christian or Islamic leaders. I have a cordial relationship with Pastor Adeboye, Oyedepo and others. I have sent invitations to them many times but they have refused to honour it. Many of our religious leaders are kidnappers; they are holding their members to ransom. When we have good government, religion will disappear because it is not helping Nigeria. Religion is a farce and the result is not good.
Most of us believe Maharaj Ji concept is from India…or at least not African…
Maharaj Ji is not an Indian ideology or culture. I have to appear in this form of dressing to promote my ideologies. The world started on SANSKRIT, it is from there we have the Yoruba, Igbo, German and others. The true name of the creator is Maharaj Ji and it has a Yoruba meaning attached to it. The name is a big one that can take the whole world and soon, we shall be celebrating 43 years of Maharaj Ji’s appearance in Nigeria. The sweetness Maharaj Ji promised is being fulfilled now and the knowledge is spreading all over the world.
You once promised to reveal why the presumed winner of the 1993 presidential election, Chief MKO Abiola’s victory was annulled. Can you shed more light on it?
Satguru Maharaj ji masterminded MKO’s victory in the 1993 primary and the general election but it was annulled after late Alhaji Abdulazeez Arisekola Alao and Ajagbemakeferi reported to the late Sultan of Sokoto that MKO is no longer a Muslim and he was trying to receive Divine Knowledge from Satguru. They believed that if he became the President, Muslims would not be able to control him anymore because of his closeness to Maharaj Ji.
What is your view on the arrest of former CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele?
The design of the currency was wrong and it was targeted at killing Tinubu’s presidential bid. Emefiele should be probed for financial mismanagement and the government should set up a judicial committee of enquiry to comprehensively investigate him.
Do you wish to advise our politicians, Nigerians?
I want our politicians to support President Bola Tinubu. Our elected representatives at the State and National Assembly should be made to account for the constituency projects they facilitated while in office because Nigerians are not happy. The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) should be made to be accountable for all the vehicles parked within their jurisdiction.
All land grabbers should be made to swear with Ogun, the god of iron if they are the true owners of the land they are claiming.
