The present set of challenges facing Nigerians can specifically be ameliorated and cushioned only if there is ‘divine intervention’.

This submission was made on Friday evening by respected statesman and former governor of Old Oyo State, Dr Victor Omololu Olunloyo while speaking with PMParrot.

The renowned mathematician and Engineer who was speaking shortly after holding a brief private meeting with former President Olusegun Obasanjo in his Molete, Ibadan palatial home, however, refused to elaborate or mention names.

He likened the situation Nigerians have found themselves as very unfortunate saying “It is going to be well with us”.

When probed further on the issue of fuel subsidy removal, palliatives and others, Olunloyo went philosophical saying “There is providence in the fall of the sparrow. You know, God has the greatest sense of humour and He knows when to allow nonsense.”

Obasanjo, who had earlier been with Olunloyo informed PMParrot that he came on a social visit to Ibadan and decided to pay a visit to his friend and brother before returning to Abeokuta, Ogun State.
