- Confirms Official Resumption Of Aketi
The Speaker, Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Oladiji Olamide Oladiji, has officially confirmed that the state Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has resumed work while revealing that the executive power transmitted to the deputy governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa has been retrieved.
He said, “We give God the Glory that the governor is back to Nigeria, I am happy to tell you that the governor has resumed back and has started working after he left the shores of the country for about two months. Truly, we have not been finding it easy because of the executive position that is missing and the person there is only working on acting capacity.
The speaker revealed this during an exclusive interview with PMParrot inside Governor Akeredolu’s Law Hub Ibadan office on Friday afternoon.
Speaking further on the lesson learnt during Akeredolu’s absence, “Anybody can fall sick, we are all human beings but some people in the name of politics have decided to mess things up, it is a big lesson and I have learnt that there is no impossibility with God.
Aketi’s Resumption
“The Governor has started working; the power that was transmitted to the deputy governor has been retrieved. The arrival of Akeredolu has brought joy back to us and we are happy that he is back healthy. It very ungodly to play politics with fellow human being’s health status”.
The Speaker further urged politicians to live in love and support each other in difficult circumstances while cautioning them to stop playing politics with one another’s health status.
It should be recalled that Aketi, as he is fondly called returned to Nigeria from Germany after spending few months overseas to receive medical attention.
Present at the Ibadan meeting included members of the House of Representatives, State House of Assembly, Commissioners, Party Stakeholders among others.
