Prominent Nigerian Businessman, Taiwo Oseni, Others Honoured As UN Peace Ambassadors

In commemoration of the International day of peace, some notable Nigerians have been honoured as peace ambassadors for their various contributions to humanity in the country and globally.

Some of the awardees included the CEO, Eagles Achievers Global International,  Mr Taiwo Oseni and others.

The award giving event was organised in a bid to ensure that peace reigns in the world and for sustainable development globally.

The event, which took place at the Nigeria Union of Journalists’ hall, Iyaganku, Ibadan was one of the activities lined up by the United Nations to celebrate the 2023 international day of peace.

Speaking, the coordinator of the event, Mr. Bunmi Ola, revealed that the recipients were nominated on merit following their records of service to humanity and untainted antecedents in human development.

Speaking with some select journalists shortly after receiving the award, Mr. Taiwo appreciated the United Nations for honouring him with such giant recognition while stressing that peace in every home would culminate into peace in the society.

Oseni Speaks

“I shall project peace and preach peace, and let them understand that we are better off living together in peace than living apart,” Taiwo said.

He further promised to contribute more to various developmental programs in the country while assuring never to relent in his effort towards ensuring a better society for his people and to keep the flag of peace flying.

In a brief citation of Mr. Taiwo Oseni, he has worked in several establishments in the oil and gas industry before diversifying into network organisation through a GNLD company presently known as Neolife.

He is currently the founder and Chief Executive officer, Eagle Achievers Global International, an organisation with major focus on human empowerment and development.

Mr. Olayinka Agboola, the Chief Operating Officer at Parrot Xtra Media Network (publishers of PMParrot.com and Parrot Xtra Magazine) as well as others also became UN Peace Ambassadors at the event.
