Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, the governor of Ondo State has congratulated winners of the last Saturday’s off-cycle governorship elections in Kogi and Imo states, Usman Ododo in Kogi State and Senator Hope Uzodinma of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Governor Akeredolu said the victories signified the people’s endorsement of their leadership as well as entrusting them with the responsibility of steering their respective states towards prosperity and progress.
Akeredolu, in a statement, he personally signed, said the outcome of the elections affirmed the democratic gains and highlighted the ongoing improvements in the country’s electoral system.
