The founder of Abolarin College, Oke-Ila Orangun and the traditional ruler of the fast developing town, Oba Adedokun Abolarin has been expressing his joy over the successes being recorded by the products of the college in the past 10 years.

The ‘free-of-charge’ college, established by Oba Abolarin specifically for extremely brilliant children of the poor already has some of its product now making waves in different Nigerian universities. It is believed that a few have graduated already.

The Orangun of Oke-Ila, easily one the most educated traditional rulers in Africa (also a Lawyer) took to his Facebook page over the weekend to celebrate his scholars.

    Read Kabiyesi’s submissions:

“What a beautiful transformation!! These, my beautiful children were differently admitted into Abolarin College, Oke-Ila Orangun, in the last ten years and to His Glory, they are now doing very well in our various universities.

“Adesunkanmi Ibitoye wearing the red top is from, Oke-Ila Orangun now a student of Federal University, Oye Ekiti, next to him is Francis Okebe Jairus, an Igede from Benue State, now in OAU, Ile Ife, Blessing Oyedeji, Oke-Ila Orangun, Adeleke University, Ede,  myself (a proud father), Dolapo Ajiroba, from Ila Orangun also a student at Adeleke University, Ede Abudsalam from Erin Ile, Kwara State, Federal University, Oye Ekiti and Baliqees Oyewole from Ila Orangun, now a student at the University of Ilorin. Presently, of the 84 Ex ABOLARIN, 67 of them are in our various universities. We are grateful to God Almighty and to those who supports us.                                                             Education is just too important and it can never be a scam. To have meaningful peace in Nigeria, ALL Nigerians must have access to quality education.

“Nation building is a tough process, yes, a very tough process and ALL must be adequately involved.
