Super Eagles’ striker, Terem Moffi scored his 11th goal in Ligue 1 this season as OGC Nice drew 2-2 at Olympique Marseille.
Moffi scored after 13 minutes to open the scoring for the visiting team.
This was the fifth goal for the 24-year-old Nigeria International striker after the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations(AFCON) in Cote d’Ivoire where he helped the Super Eagles to a second place finish behind the Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire.
On Thursday, Moffi proved himself yet again on a big game occasion in Ligue 1, this time against French giants Olympic Marseille.
Incidentally, it was his fourth goal against Marseille, equaling the four he has so far scored against big name PSG, but short of each of the seven he has scored against both Lens and Monaco. He got a rating of 7.4
The draw away to Marseille consolidated OGC Nice’s fifth place in the standings after their title challenge faltered.
