Veteran broadcaster and aide to Oyo’s Governor ‘Seyi Makinde, Basorun Adegboyega Lawal has announced the demise of his mother, Alhaja Nuratu Adunni. She was 98.
In a statement made available to PMParrot by the foremost entertainer and culture ambassador, Alhaja Adunni passed away on Sunday.
While alive, she was the Iyalode of Elese Erin as well as the Iya Adini of Irefin Central Mosque, Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State.
Basorun Lawal also informed that burial activities, according to Islamic rites will start by 10am on Monday, December 30, 2024 at Irefin Palace, Irefin, Ibadan.
