Ibadan Grammar School Old Students’ Association (IGSOSA) national body has Inaugurated 8-member electoral committee.
This is ahead of the election of the new executives that will pilot the affairs of the association for the next three years.
The association National Social and Publicity Secretary, Akinyinka Akintola, disclosed this on behalf of the National President, Balogun Gafar Ojetola.
The President urged all members across sets and branches to support and cooperate with the committee to deliver on the mandate given to it.
The electoral committee has an accomplished academic, Professor Gbolahan Gbadamosi as Chairman.

Alhaji Diipo Sanusi, Member
Adekunle Oluwole, Member
Mrs Olufunke Oluyemi, member
Mrs Kareem-Ojo Khadeejah Seun, Member and,
Mrs. Oyewole Olusola Mabel, Secretary
According to the President, the electoral committee is saddled with the responsibility of conducting this year’s election, which is scheduled to hold during the association AGM in March.
As the tenure of the present NEC will lapse in March this year, the President Balogun Gafar Ojetola has inaugurated an 8 member electoral committee to midwife the election of a new set of National executives that will pilot the affairs of the association for the next 3 years.
As you are aware, an independent and impartial body charged with implementing elections is an important means of ensuring the integrity of the electoral process.
On behalf of the National Executive Council of the IGSOSA, I want to urge everyone to support and cooperate with this Committee in this onerous task and also hope that members will give this assignment all the diligence and commitment it deserves,” the statement reads.
