Legendary Fuji musician Alhaji Wasiu Ayinla Olayori Karashi has officially unveiled his latest album, Proof of Life, at a colorful launch ceremony held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Pythagoras Lounge & Bar, Felele Junction, Challenge, Ibadan.
Organised by Fuji Karashi Music Entertainment, the album launch brought together Fuji music lovers, cultural enthusiasts, entertainment industry stakeholders, and prominent musicians to celebrate the career and musical contributions of the Fuji icon.
The event featured notable personalities in the Fuji music scene, including Alhaji Raseed Ayinde Merenge, Alhaji Sefiu Alao, Tiri Leather, and Alhaji Musiliu Haruna Ishola, among other guests.
Proof of Life captures Karashi’s musical journey, experience and resilience as a veteran ambassador of Fuji music. The album blends traditional Fuji sounds with contemporary musical elements, creating a body of work aimed at connecting with both established Fuji audiences and a younger generation of listeners.
The unveiling was marked by musical performances, cultural celebration and tributes to Karashi’s enduring contribution to the Fuji genre.
