Eid-El-Kabir: Giwa Charges Muslims To Pray For Safe Return Of Abducted Victims In Oyo State

‎All Progressives Congress House of Assembly candidate for Lagelu State Constituency, Arc. Hassan Olawale Giwa has extended warm greetings to Muslims in Lagelu, Ibadan, Oyo State, and across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid El Kabir.

‎Giwa, who is the Asiwaju Adini Musulumi of Ibadanland, urged the Muslim faithful to reflect on the values of sacrifice, obedience, and compassion that the festival represents. He called on them to use the occasion to pray for peace, unity, and progress in the country.

‎The founder of the Hassan Olawale Giwa (HOG) Foundation also urged Muslims to put the lessons of Eid El Kabir into practice by helping others and continuing to maintain peaceful coexistence.

‎“Eid El Kabir reminds us of the power of faith and selflessness. May this season bring renewed hope, blessings, and joy to every home,” Giwa said.

‎While wishing all Muslims a peaceful celebration, he called for continued unity and love among communities. He also congratulated the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Sheikh Abdulganniy Abubakar Agbotomokekere, and the entire Imam-in-Council on the occasion of Eid El Kabir.

‎Giwa extended his greetings to the Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo, and Delta States, Alhaji Dawud Makanjuola Akinola; the Giwa Adini Musulumi of Oyo State; the Asiwaju Adini Musulumi of Oyo State; and all Muslim title holders, leaders, scholars, and preachers in Ibadan, Oyo State, and Nigeria.

‎He charged them to use the festive period to pray for the safe return of the teachers and students abducted in Orire Local Government Area of the state.

‎The APC House of Assembly candidate also called on security agencies to double their efforts and ensure the swift release of the victims.
