We Upgraded ‘Borrow Me Credit’ Service To Keep Customers Connected – Glo

Digital solutions provider, Globacom, has upgraded its “Borrow Me Credit” service, making it easier for subscribers to stay connected whenever they run low on airtime or data.

Announcing the upgrade in Lagos, the company announced that the eligibility requirements for the service have been simplified to provide instant airtime and data support to millions of active prepaid customers nationwide.

Globacom also emphasised that although a service charge applies, the initiative is primarily aimed at providing immediate assistance whenever customers find themselves with insufficient balance.

Beyond the traditional borrowing option, the enhanced “Borrow Me Credit” service now offers subscribers the ability to “Borrow Special Data” as well as “Borrow Airtime/Data for Others”. This feature enables Glo customers to support friends and family members who may be unable to recharge immediately, further promoting connectivity and strengthening relationships within the Glo community.

“Whether it is an urgent business call, a late-night research project, or staying in touch with loved ones during an emergency, Glo’s ‘Borrow Me Credit’ ensures that a low balance never results in a zero-communication experience,” said Globacom.

Also, the company noted that the service is designed to accommodate a variety of customer needs, with airtime and data denominations ranging from as low as N25 to as much as N4,000, giving subscribers flexible options that match their usage requirements.

Additionally, Globacom explained that customers with stronger usage profiles and higher levels of engagement on the network are eligible for increased borrowing limits under the service.

Through consistent activity on the network, prepaid subscribers can access different tiers of credit and data benefits, ranging from basic emergency airtime to substantial Data Plans.
