Actor Jim Iyke has claimed that the entertainment industry is dominated by demonic influences and was structured to promote Satanism.

Speaking in a recent interview with media personality Joey Akan, Iyke said the sector thrives on self-exaltation, with many entertainers elevating themselves to god-like status.

According to him, this act of self-worship aligns with the principles of Satanism.

“As a creative, to create is to mimic God. You can’t serve God and serve self. That is a conflict of interest. Serving self is satanism itself,” he said.

The actor recalled a time when he believed his fame made him special, citing instances when fans reacted emotionally at the sight of him.

“When you extol yourself to god-like status, when you think you should be worshipped or the laws should not apply to you anymore, you are literally worshipped.

“I have been there. I have seen people cry when I walked into a room, and I looked at them and thought I was special. No, you are not.”

He, however, said that after finding God, he came to understand that such adulation was a form of idolatry.

Iyke also stated that the entertainment industry enables destructive behaviour more than any other sector.

Satanism?

He said, “There is no bigger enabler than the entertainment industry. This is where demons live. Entertainment is totally created and orchestrated to extol the virtues of Satanism”.

He added that the industry was largely created to promote values contrary to godliness, and that showcasing God in the space requires deliberate and conscious effort.

“What in the entertainment glorifies God except you intentionally or consciously pursue him? Is it the blatant life?

“What do we extol that is godly? I am not saying God doesn’t exist in the entertainment industry; I am saying the entertainment industry is predominantly created for this”, he said.

He noted that creativity is intended to reflect God, and that serving both God and self creates a conflict.

In his view, prioritising self above God amounts to Satanism.

The actor further explained that true significance lies in maintaining a connection with God, especially in an environment he described as largely void of divine presence.

“Once you find your place with God, you will understand what is special. What is special is being able to find God in this place that is devoid of his presence”, he added.
