The chairman of Oyo State Teaching Service Commission, Mrs. Olubukola Oladipo, has commended the state’s governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde and others involved in the rescue of of the pupils, teachers and other victims abducted in Orire Local Government Area of the state.
While thanking God for the successful rescue of the innocent Nigerians, Mrs Oladipo described the feat as commendable, inspiring and encouraging.
She added “it is my pleasure to congratulate His Excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde on this landmark achievement. I congratulate all family members involved and the entire state.
Makinde’s Role
“I must at this point salute the spirit of ‘never-giving-up’ exhibited by His Excellency, Engineer Makinde. He definitely passed a message to all of us in the state that we must always be steadfast and focused.”
She continued “at TESCOM, the safety of teachers, students and even non-teaching staff members of schools is our priority. We will continue to do our best along this line.”
The TESCOM boss then used the opportunity to hint that she, alongside other management members, would soon visit Oriire Local Government to identify with all the teachers in that part of Oyo State.
