Actress and evangelist, Tonto Dikeh has announced the launch of New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle (NWPT), an interdenominational Christian fellowship based in Abuja.
Dikeh made the announcement in an Instagram post, introducing NWPT as an “interdenominational altar, spiritual home, and global movement of consecrated believers”.
In its welcome message, NWPT encouraged members to anchor themselves in prayer, connect with the fellowship and pursue “the secret place.”
According to the actress, the fellowship was established to create a place for prayer, revival, spiritual growth and the experience of the “raw power, purity, and presence of God.”
The movement is founded on the biblical passage in Mark 2:22, which states that “no one puts new wine into old wineskins.”
NWPT said its vision is to see a global awakening of consecrated believers who will operate in the presence of God and contribute to transforming nations.
Its mission includes building an interdenominational altar of prayer, revival and apostolic training, while equipping believers, activating spiritual gifts and promoting soul winning.
The fellowship also identified four core values under the acronym FIRE: Flame of Intercession, Intimacy and Consecration, Revival and Soul Winning, and Empowerment through Deliverance and Healing.
The organisation described itself as “not a church” but “an intense gathering” of people committed to the purposes of God.
The fellowship will be held every Friday at 6 p.m. in Jabi, Abuja.
