Governor Seyi Makinde has approved the release of promotion letters of over 3,000 for eligible tutors and other categories of workers for 2025 under the Oyo State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), further demonstrating his administration’s strong and practical concern for the welfare, career progression, and well-being of workers.
Addressing journalists in the commission’s conference room, the Executive Chairman of TESCOM Oyo State—Mrs. Olubukola Oladipo JP—stated that the development adds to a growing record of worker-focused policies under the administration of His Excellency Engineer Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde.
The latest promotion of more than 3,000 TESCOM workers therefore represents not just career advancement but another practical demonstration that workers remain an important part of the Makinde administration’s governance agenda.
For many workers, welfare is measured not merely by promises, but by salaries paid when due, promotions earned and implemented, improved conditions of service and recognition of years of service. On these fronts, the Makinde administration has continued to build a reputation for being particularly worker-friendly.
