Actress and filmmaker, Toyin Abraham is set to return to the big screen with her highly anticipated film, ‘BESTIE,’ scheduled to hit cinemas nationwide on December 16, 2026.
The new film is expected to add to Abraham’s strong run as she continues to establish herself as one of the leading filmmakers and box-office stars in the Nigerian film industry.
Abraham’s return to cinemas follows the impressive performance of her previous film, Oversabi Aunty, which crossed the N1 billion mark at the Nigerian box office and earned her recognition from the National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB). NigerianPartnership Consulting
Earlier, Abraham hinted she was preparing another cinema project for December after announcing that Alábọ̀sí 2 would be her final YouTube movie release for 2026.
She teased fans with the promise of ‘another beautiful chapter’ and bigger stories to come.
December remains one of the busiest periods for Nigerian cinemas, with filmmakers traditionally using the season to release major productions and attract audiences seeking entertainment during the Christmas and New Year holidays.
