The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in Oyo State has appointed Hon. Yasir Ibrahim Babangoyo as a member of the party’s Campaign Committee for the 2027 gubernatorial election.
Babangoyo, a leader within the Hausa youth community in Ibadan, recently joined the APM from the All Progressives Congress (APC). He was also among the active participants in the recently concluded Boye Nation/JAF Movement activities.
According to the party’s announcement, his appointment is part of efforts to strengthen its campaign structure and mobilisation activities ahead of the 2027 gubernatorial election.
In his new capacity, Babangoyo is expected to participate in campaign planning, grassroots mobilisation and other activities of the APM across Oyo State.
The party congratulated him on his appointment and expressed confidence that he would contribute to the campaign committee in the discharge of its responsibilities.
His appointment further adds to the APM’s growing campaign structure as political activities continue to gather momentum ahead of the 2027 elections in Oyo State.
