The Oyo State Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator (Dr.) Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, has felicitated with former Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, on his birthday, describing him as a distinguished technocrat and patriot.
In a congratulatory message, Alli commended Adelabu’s contributions to Oyo State and Nigeria, particularly in the financial and public sectors.
The APC governorship candidate described him as a man of considerable experience, intellectual depth, and administrative capacity whose career reflected a commitment to public service and national development.
“Chief Adebayo Adelabu is a distinguished son of Oyo State whose contributions to public service, governance, and national development remain worthy of commendation,” he said.
He also acknowledged Adelabu’s contributions to the power sector during his tenure as Minister of Power, noting that his experience remained valuable to Nigeria’s pursuit of sustainable development.
“On this auspicious occasion, I urge him to remain steadfast and even more committed to nation-building, as we collectively work towards strengthening the party and advancing its vision for a better Nigeria.
“I therefore encourage him to continue to make his wealth of experience available to the country and contribute meaningfully to its growth, unity, and success,” Alli said.
Alli wished the celebrant continued success and greater accomplishments while praying for divine guidance and blessings upon him and his family.
“On behalf of my family, political associates, and supporters, I congratulate Chief Adelabu and pray Almighty Allah to grant him many more years in good health, wisdom, and fulfillment,” Alli said.
